Overview
Adetomiwa Adebawore is one of the most athletic human beings to ever perform at the combine and he has been one of the fastest risers on many NFL draft boards after a stellar senior bowl previously. He's so fast, agile, and strong that in 1-on-1 battles in senior bowl practice he looked unblockable at times with his ability to simply overwhelm his opponent with pure athleticism but his tape is the perfect example of how great practice and great measurements don't always equate to great production. His tape always seems to leave you wanting more as he struggles in pretty every aspect of playing the defensive line position from a technical standpoint and unless he wins early, most of the time he's getting beat. He also lacks that killer instinct you need to have in the NFL trenches to make an impact and while that certainly can get developed, it sometimes never does. I think a lot of his issues in college came from his versatility and lack of true position on the line as well as I think he was misplaced at the edge rusher position because I would be willing to bet that teams looking to draft him are looking to throw him in the interior of the ddefense as a gap shooter, where his athletic traits and length will make him a potential mismatch nightmare. I think he'll hear his name called in early Day 2 but it would shock me to see him fall to the early 3rd round because it's going to take a special defensive line coach to polish and rework his game.
