Overview
Alabama is well known for putting offensive lineman into the NFL over the years as the Crimson Juggernaut would not be the dominant powerhouse it is without menacing protectors up front and Emil Ekiyor Jr. is the next man up. His highly athletic frame combined with his menacing style of play is typical of Alabama offensive lineman and NFL teams looking for as tone setter in the trenches should have him high on their board come Day 2. His technique through his game needs considerable work and possibly adding weight to his frame, especially his lower half, in order to better withstand bull rushes. He's got qualities as an offensive lineman that you can teach and should be a good project for a quality offensive line coach.
