Overview
Sam LaPorta is another good tight prospect to come out of Iowa after a long line of excellent NFL players have made their mark in recent years; George Kittle, T.J. Hockenson, and Noah Fant to name a few. His receiving skills and blocking capabilities make him one of the more balanced tight end prospects in the draft and I don't doubt for a second that he can make sizeable impact on offense early in his career. LaPorta really only needs to add more aggression to overall game to become a dynamic threat on offense because too many occasions you can see LaPorta lose contested catches, get driven off the line or out of position when blocking, as well as get tackled in the open field by smaller defenders than him. If he can add more grit to his game, I think he could really boost his capabilities in the NFL.
