Overview
Defensive coordinators looking for a potential press coverage cornerback with zone coverage success will likely have Brents very high on their list and they should because 6'3" cornerbacks with his length and aggressive more often than not carve out a significant role in the NFL. His play in press coverage is admirable and likely will translate into the NFL very well and his zone coverage experience makes him somewhat of a versatile player on defense. His issues however in man coverage and dealing with off-man roles on defense make him a scheme specific player in my opinion and teams not employing a press-zone type of coverage and defense probably will steer clear of him draft day, likely causing a fall to the right situation. All in all, a team that knows what he can and can't do will have a high probability of success.
