Overview
If he was just a little bit faster, barring a unforeseen ridiculous 40 yard dash, Jaxon Smith-Njigba would not only be the best receiver in his class but I would go as far as to say that his comp would be Ja'Marr Chase from Cincinnati because of how similar these two players are. Chase coming out of college had the same pre-draft issues Njigba currently has which is missed his final year because "lingering injuries" and was regarded as one of the best route-runners college had to offer at the time. Smit-Njigba can rocket up draft boards with a good combine performance as his ceiling in the NFL is astronomical with the right quarterback. His issues stem more from his question marks rather than his certain faults as a prospect and if there is a player that hit the ground running his rookie year, "JSN" is that guy.
