Overview
Deonte Banks has all the tools to be a reliable press-man corner in the NFL with his tremendous athletic profile and good size for the position to go along with solid technique. He's been one of the faster risers in the NFL draft because of his skill set and potential to handle almost any task given to him but his lackluster ball production combine with his worrisome recovery tendencies that can cause more harm than good may cause some teams to think twice about making him a Day 1 selection. He'll need to work on his hands and ball skills early in his career and develop better recognition of routes and plays but a team looking for a bit of project with massive risk-reward potential should have him high on their Day 2 board.
