Overview
If you need a tone setter on defense to energize your team, Noah Sewell is that guy in the middle of the defense. He's one of the more rugged linebackers in this draft that was used all over the Oregon Ducks defense with his ability to rush the passer and not get bullied in run defense by offensive guards. He's at his best however working between the tackles stuffing runs, attacking the quarterback, or simply smack ball carriers coming in his general vicinity but no so much when having to run down ball carriers or make open field tackles where his lacking quickness and agility become his enemy. Run stuffing linebackers are often a dime a dozen in the NFL draft but few are as capable a pass rusher coming out of college as Noah Sewell and rarity in a skillset is a valuable skillset. A defensive coordinator that allows him to play to his strengths on defense and allows him to try and wreak havoc in the backfield will have a guaranteed starter on defense and reliable player for years.
