The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Offseason
Best Move of the Offseason: Releasing Donovan Smith
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers struggled their way into the playoffs with a sub .500 record and got bounced early by Dallas and while the Tom Brady era was clearly over, Donovan Smith's deteriorating pass protection didn't help this team at all and if they plan on going into next season with Kyle Trask, or whomever is playing the position, they needed to get rid of him. The draft will be crucial for this team as they didn't feel it very necessary to go after anybody noteworthy to replace him.
The Top Draft Target
#19 Will Levis (QB) University of KentuckyThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers in my opinion have to make the quarterback position a competition in 2023 as they still have a talented team that's still a good quarterback away from be relevant still. Levis is a talented quarterback with a very high ceiling and would certainly give Trask a run for his money to start in 2023.
