Overview
If there is one school in college football tied to a position its the University of Wisconsin and offensive lineman and Joe Tippman is the latest product in a long, long, long line of talented offensive lineman. Tippman is a great athlete with excellent pass protection skills that can be a quarterbacks best friend. Most of his issues as prospect unfortunately come from his size for the position as his 6'6" frame does him no favors in the interior when blocking short power based defensive tackles that try to clog the interior as he struggles to get underneath their pads to create drive. If he can fix his pad level consistency, he'll be a good starter in the interior of the offensive line and with his coaching at one of the best schools in the country at producing lineman, he should hit the ground running in the NFL.
