Overview
Basketball players have had great success transitioning into the NFL with Antonio Gates, Tony Gonzalez, and more recently Jimmy Graham and Dalton Kincaid, while not a collegiate basketball player, was a very good high school player and those skills developed in his youth have clearly materialized on the college grid iron. Kincaid can run excellent routes, make phenomenal catches, and turn a short pass into a 40+ yard gain and he has done this with relative ease over the past two seasons but his light frame and lack of muscle mass may restrict him to less than traditional tight end role witch could pigeon-hole him as a prospect. If he can gain some more muscle to his frame and develop as a blocker, he could be a very good tight end in the NFL.
