The Arizona Cardinals Offseason
Best Move of the Offseason: Firing Kliff Kingsbury
This move had to be made this past season as the original hiring of Kliff Kingsbury was a joke to begin with and it ended as a joke as this head coach was given a tremendously talented team to go along with a #1 overall pick to kick off his start in Arizona and still somehow screwed the pooch. His abysmal tenure in Arizona was made even more humiliating when the former loser of a college coach decided to escape to Thailand and refused to take calls form NFL teams which is shocking to hear people still wanted him. We'll see how the Jonathan Gannon legacy begins draft day but, for now, it would be hard to coach as poorly as Kingsbury did in 2022.
The Top Draft Target
Will Anderson Jr. (Edge) University of AlabamaThe Arizona Cardinals will be a defensive team in 2023 with the hiring of Jonathan Gannon and what better way to kick off the draft by selecting the best player of 2023 and the generationally talented edge rusher Will Anderson to kick off his coaching tenure. Anderson Jr. is the #1 overall player in the draft and by far the best edge rusher in the class and will change life very quickly in Arizona and set up the Cardinals defense for success with the best anchor in the draft.
