Overview
Myles Murphy has been a potential top 10 pick in the NFL draft since 2021 where he was a dominant presence on the Clemson defense and his 2022 season was simply put a repeat of his excellence. Murphy possesses rare power and athleticism for his size to go along with great NFL build with long arms and room to grow. His only real flaws as a prospect are from his lack of flashy moves as a pass rusher which to me isn't because a lack of understanding on how to play the position but rather his power is so immense and his bull rush and strength based moves are so well utilized and effective, why learn more at this stage of my career when my bread and butter is simply bulldozing. He'll definitely need to expand his arsenal and start to learn how to develop rush plans against NFL tackles but based on reports about his IQ is very high and he can pickup things quickly. He's plug and play rookie that will make a major impact on a team within his first couple years in the league and shouldn't wait long to hear his name called.
