Overview
If their was a Tony Pollard clone coming out of college this year it would have to be Tyjae Spears whose ability slip tackles, burst through holes in the line, and make video game level moves on defenders is almost carbon copy of the man. However like Pollard, the rigors of the NFL are tough and running backs and I simply can't see him lasting through his rookie contract with out a serious injury costing him some of his ability. As a change of pace back however, he'd be exceptional and could contribute Week 1 of the season. If he can develop his pass catching capabilities, learn some routes, and become a somewhat reliable blocker then maybe I can see him staying on the field. He's terrific playmaker through and through and creative offensive mind is going love using him.
